“I joined Wainwright’s apprenticeship programme straight from college – and I haven’t looked back! I worked as a business administrator at the same time as studying for my Level 4 foundation degree. This gave me a chance to develop my theoretical understanding at college, then put it into practice in the workplace.

Wainwright is a really fun place to be. Everyone is so lovely and I’ve been given encouragement to develop my career. The whole team looks out for you and there’s so much to learn about all the different parts of the business.

I worked in HR and with our Safety, Health and Environment Manager during my apprenticeship, as well as gaining experience in the wider admin team.

Since qualifying, I’ve moved to a full-time permanent position as HR Officer, with funding and time to complete my CIPD qualification. So my development continues – I really feel as if I’m growing every day at Wainwright.”
