What we do

We are an end-to-end supplier of aggregates, asphalt and contracting services to National Highways, local authorities and the construction industry. We offer a personal service, underscored by professionalism and a commitment to doing the right thing.

Aggregates

We’ve been selling premium-quality basalt from Moons Hill Quarry since 1898. Renowned for its durability and high skid resistance, our hard stone has long been favoured for surfacing works in a variety of applications.

Asphalt

We operate two state-of-the-art asphalt plants, at Moons Hills in Somerset and Avonmouth near Bristol. We sell our asphalt products to National Highways, local authorities, private contractors and construction companies, including the collect trade.

Contracting

Wainwright is proud to hold term maintenance contracts with two local authorities in the South West, as well as providing emergency and patch repairs to National Highways. Our gangs also deliver on projects for private construction companies.
