Our foundation

THE WAINWRIGHT FUTURES FOUNDATION

We established the Wainwright Futures Foundation to celebrate our 125th anniversary in 2016. Since then, we’ve donated over £200,000 to local charities and causes, helping build community throughout our local area. We’re proud of the difference we’ve made, and commit to continue contributing in the years ahead.

WHO WE SUPPORT

The Wainwright Futures Foundation supports local causes, charities and organisations that focus on at least one of the following areas:

  • Community flourishing
  • The environment and sustainability
  • Education

Anyone is welcome to apply to our fund. We offer small grants of up to £500, as well as larger contributions for more substantial projects. Our trustees meet at least twice a year to consider applications for larger funds, and smaller donations are awarded between meetings.
